Why is my Polaris hose tangled?
1. Verify that the hose is within 6” of the furthest point of the pool.
2. With the cleaner operating (have someone help you hold cleaner at the pool) check that swivels and hose connections move freely and do not have excessive water spraying from them.
3. Make sure feed hose is floating. The floats should be spaced out evenly on the first two sections from the wall and floating.
4. With the cleaner operating, hold the unit under water and verify that all wheels turn together.
5. Lay hose out flat in the sun or place in warm water to remove any hose memory. Hoses kept out of the pool in a bundled mess will kink and build memory restricting it in the water. Sometimes in the beginning of the season the water is just too cold and the hose will remain stiff until the water is warmer.

If you can’t find the source of the problem or would prefer to have one of our techs look at it, feel free to drop your unit off in-store or schedule a service call!
