Why is my Hayward Heater not firing?
Does the heater not fire?
• Has the breaker tripped, remember to check by the pool as well as the main breaker box inside the house.
• Is there enough gas, the tank must usually read over 35 psi.
• Is there enough flow, the filter should be clean. Check the pressure on the filter gauge, even if it looks only slightly higher than normal backwash to increase the flow of water through the heater. The heater WILL NOT fire if the flow switch inside the heater does not read enough water movement.
